While Apple has increased the prices of its MacBook line, the iPhone 17 series has not seen any significant price changes.
Recently, Apple announced price increases for its product line due to rising component costs. Currently, many MacBook models have been listed with new prices, increasing by millions of Vietnamese dong, but the iPhone 17 series has not seen any significant price changes.
The iPhone 17 Pro Max has never lost its popularity in Vietnam.
As of June 28th, at two authorized Apple retailers (AAR) in Vietnam, TGDĐ and FPT Shop, the prices of the iPhone 17 series remained almost unchanged. Currently, all versions retain the same price as a few days ago, with the exception of the iPhone 17 Pro Max 512GB, which saw a further decrease of 100,000 VND at one major retailer, bringing the price down to 42.79 million VND.
In previous months, the iPhone 17 Pro Max consistently held its value very well compared to its original price, even the highest-end versions like the iPhone 17 Pro Max 1TB and iPhone 17 Pro Max 2TB didn't see any price reductions after months on the market. Now, the additional 100,000 VND price drop for the 512GB Pro Max is considered very small given the current skyrocketing prices of RAM and chips.
